PTP 200 F-Type Constants
The constants measure 35” x 12” x 20 ¼” and 29” x 10” x 19 ½”. The products have a maximum travel of 5” and can support loads up to 790 lbs. and 430 lbs. They are constructed of A36 steel with a hot dip galvanized finish. The frames on the custom designed constants were elongated to meet customer’s specifications. Standard load and adjustment testing was performed to ensure quality prior to shipping.

Horizontal U-Type Constants for Power Plant

The constants measure 61 x 17 x 40 and weighs 560 lbs. a piece. They are designed to operate in temperatures from -40° F to 660° F. The unique construction of the constants permits extensive vertical travel, ranging from 20.5 to 26. Standard load and adjustment testing was performed to ensure quality prior to shipping.

Long Tangent U-Bolts for Refinery
Piping Technology & Products, Inc. recently custom designed and fabricated eight long tangent U-bolts for an oil refinery in Texas. The carbon steel U-bolts can support pipes ranging from 8” to 16”. They are designed to support loads up to 9,900 lbs. and temperatures to 650° F. The products weigh between 3 lbs. and 9 lbs. U-bolts are recommended to support or guide heavy loads. They are often employed in power and process plants, as well as in marine service.
