Piping Technology and Products, Inc. and custom designed two pre-insulated cryogenic supports for a propylene dehydrogenation application at a petrochemical plant in Texas. The insulation is made from a high density polyurethane Insulation, with the bearing plates and side bumpers fabricated from carbon steel with an HDG finish. The shoes are capable of insulating and supporting at temperatures as low as -360°F. These were designed to support pipeline diameter of 42” with overall height of 62” diameter. Regular quality control tests were performed with a standard turn-around time.

PT&P custom designed pre-insulated pipe supports for a cryogenic pipeline at a petrochemical complex in Louisiana. They range in size from 46″ – 52″ diameter and are designed for temperatures down to -20°F. The top portion of the support is 10 lb. density and the bottom is 20 lb. high density polyurethane foam (PUF) insulation. The shoe and bearing plates were fabricated from carbon steel with a hot-dipped galvanized finish. These cold shoes include a vapor barrier comprised of a three layer lamination of polyester film and aluminum foil. Standard quality control tests were performed prior to shipment.

PT&P custom designed 127 cryogenic insulated pipe supports for a chemical plant in Texas. They are designed for pipe sizes ranging from 1″ – 24″ diameter and operating loads up to 120,517 lb. The insulation is high density polyurethane foam (PUF) ranging from 1″ to 7″ in thickness. The shoe and bearing plates were fabricated from carbon steel with a hot-dipped galvanized finish. The jacket was fabricated from aluminized steel and includes a vapor barrier. Standard Q.C. and dimensional tests were performed prior to shipment.

PT&P custom designed pre-insulated pipe supports with polyurethane insulation for cryogenic temperatures in a light hydrocarbon production facility in Texas. A total of 59 cold shoes were fabricated from A36 carbon steel with a hot-dipped galvanized finish. The cold shoe assemblies range in diameter from 24″-48″ and were designed to support loads ranging from 17,000 to 31,000 lb. Standard Q.C. and dimensional tests were performed prior to shipment.

PT&P custom designed 98 insulated pipe supports for an ammonia project at a chemical plant in Louisiana. The supports were designed for cryogenic and high temperature pipe systems, with a 8″ to 22″ baseplate width and 10″ to 28″ saddle length. They were designed for pipe diameters of 6″-24″ and are comprised of polyurethane foam for cryogenic and FTM insulation for high temperatures. Standard Q.C. and dimensional tests were performed prior to shipment.

PT&P manufactured cryogenic pipe supports for a 30″ diameter pipeline in an LNG facility located in the UAE. These cold shoe anchors prevent axial and lateral movement at temperatures down to -300°F. The bearing plate is fabricated from carbon steel and the 5″ thick insulation is a combination of high density polyurethane foam (PUF) and Permali®.

These insulated pipe supports are designed for 6″ diameter cold temperature piping for a gas refinery in Texas. They are fabricated with a carbon steel shell and 5″ thick polyurethane insulation. PT&P offers various types of insulated supports utilizing insulating materials designed for piping ranging in surface temperatures from -460°F to 1,200°F.
