How do I install a turnbuckle? |
When installing turnbuckles, first ensure that you have a left-handed thread and a right-handed thread component. Begin by threading one end of the turnbuckle onto the threaded portion of the rod until you reach full thread engagement. Next, thread the second rod into the remaining threaded portion of the turnbuckle until you reach full thread engagement. Ensure that both rods are locked into position. Turn the turnbuckle clockwise until the rod ends indicate a gap equal to ½ the turnbuckle opening.
