How do we decide whether to use the 7/16" or the 11/32" application of PTFE? |
The PTFE standard assembly is a PTFE to PTFE and
10 gauge backing plate combination which as a whole is 7/16" thick. Some customers
require the 11/32" application of PTFE and this thickness can only be achieved when you
utilize a stainless steel upper slide plate element.![]() PTFE, 25% Glass Filled Slide Plates Bonded to Stainless Steel Backing Plates |
