We use a low pressure steam heater to heat rail cars at our asphalt terminal, will high temperature insulated pipe supports allow for proper expansion and contraction of the piping? |
For this type of application, we recommend you
use a high temperature support or hot shoes. Cold shoes are
designed for up to about 200 degrees F. If you pick the correct design, it will
allow for expansion and contraction of the pipe.
