What are the different types of supports in piping? |
| The different types of pipe supports can mainly be categorized as active or passive supports. Active supports would include those components which continuously carry a load and either allow or prevent movement under that loading condition. Passive supports would consist of components which do not continuously carry a load but are activated under extreme dynamic conditions.
