What can I use to avoid metal to metal contact of a pipe clamp on carbon steel pipe? |
We recommend that you use a
non-metallic wear pad or FRP pad that is fabricated from fiberglass reinforced plastic and
is secured to the pipe using an epoxy adhesive. Another option is the use of a neoprene lining on the clamp which also prevents metal to metal contact.
