What do I do if a constant support is bottomed out? |
|
There are
two possible situations in which the constant would bottom out. One being the
load is larger than anticipated and the other being that the amount of travel
exceeds the total travel rating for that particular constant. Under the first
category, one would be able to increase the load by 10% if the conditions
warranted. Under the second category, replacement of the constant support would
be required. ![]() Bottomed Out G-Type Constant in the Field |
