What is the function of the pad on a hold-down pipe clamp? |
The pads
that are bonded to the inside of the hold-down clamps along the radius may
either be 3/32” thick PTFE, 25% glass filled slide plates or ¼” thick belting
material. These pads allow for movement of the pipe within the hold-down clamp.
