What is the minimum amplitude of vibration for which snubbers are effective? |
The minimum amplitude of vibration for which snubbers are effective depends on when a shock comes, how quickly it moves. For hydraulic snubbers, the standard velocity is 8" per second. Amplitude is not a function in the case of snubbers, rather the velocity.
