Piping Technology & Products, Inc. Designs and Manufactures 12' x 4' Constants with 46" of Travel for a Geothermal Plant in Hawaii (3/21/03) (PT&P Ref #68264)

Piping Technology & Products recently designed and manufactured these Upthrust Constants (PT&P Fig. 200-U) for a geothermal plant in Hawaii. These 3' x 1'-12' x 4' constants are composed of A36 carbon steel. The customer required a constant load from 2,500 lbs.-15,000 lbs. and design travel of 5” to 46”. The constant load test and cell travel tests were conducted on these constants.
