Piping Technology & Products, Inc. Designs and Manufactures New Standard Pipe Shoes for a Power Plant in Canada 1/24/03 (PT&P Ref #66181)

Piping Technology & Products, Inc. designed and manufactured these Fig. 1400 pipe shoes for a power plant in Canada. 

These Fig. 1400 pipe shoes are a combination of PT&P Fig. 900 and 400.  These shoes are particularly made from carbon steel and graphite with 4” B.O.P (bottom of the pipe).  They are used to control pipe movement by guiding.  These shoes also prevent vertical and horizontal movement and allow axial movement.  They are mainly used in power plants or areas where there is cyclical filling and emptying of the pipe.
