Piping Technology & Products, Inc. Custom Designs and Fabricates Over 4500 Anchors and Shoes for a Defense Company in Ft. Greely, Alaska  (PT&P Ref #69510-F3) 7/25/2003

Piping Technology and Products, Inc. fabricated 4,702 shoes for a missile defense system in Ft. Greely, Alaska.  The carbon steel shoes are manufactured to various pipe sizes ranging from 2” to 10”. As per customer request, the shoes are designed to accommodate 30 PSI compressive strength. A three-coat paint system was applied for corrosion protection. All supports were liquid dye penetrant tested at 5% of welds.
