Name plate indicates hot/cold loads		90,000 lb. load Big Ton Spring

Piping Technology and Products, Inc. manufactured four 13,500 lb. Big Tons Springs for a chemical plant in Texas. These PTP-500 Big Ton Springs have a load capacity of 60,000 to 90,000 lb. are fabricated from A-36 carbon steel. They are designed for 750°F and a downward travel range of 3/16" to 1/4". These 37" x 31" x 30" Big Tons will be used to support certain critical equipment with thermal expansion at the chemical plant. To assure quality, load testing was performed on the big tons prior to shipping.
