Piping Technology and Products, Inc. recently designed and fabricated thirty PT&P Fig. 70A clamps to fit 14” to 18” pipes at a power plant in Florida. These clamps are designed for suspension of hot pipe lines where there is a high temperature and great thermal movement. The clamps are fabricated from SA 387 Gr. 22 alloy steel for temperatures of 1065°F and loads of 8,000 lb. to 25,000 lb. These 160 to 395 lb. clamps have dimensions checked and a fit up test preformed prior to shipping.
