Piping Technology & Products, Inc. recently custom designed and fabricated PTP Fig. 200 Constant Hangers for a coker unit in St. Croix.
These supports, with operating loads ranging from 4,000 lb. to 58,000 lb., will be used to support flue gas ducts at the oil refinery. The overall lengths of the Horizontal Constants are 5' to 7', and the heights of the Vertical Constants ranged from 4' to 6'. The combined weight of the constants totaled over 24,000 lb. Color-coded rivets for hot and cold loads and universal locking devices are also installed per customer's request.
