System Requirements

• IntelliCAD (trial version provided)
• XP or Windows 2000 operating system
• Microsoft Excel (to use the Excel Automation feature)

Installation Guide

Uninstall all previous installations of IntelliCAD or PHDS before proceeding with the installation.

Installation from Download Email:

Install IntelliCAD:
1. Unzip the files in setupicad.exe and run setup.exe, or simply double click setup.exe in the unzip program you are using (i.e. WinZip)
2. Double-click the installation file to begin the PHDS installation. Once installed, open and close IntelliCAD once before using PHDS for the first time.

Install PHDS:
1. Click on the download link provided in the email from PT&P. Save the downloaded file to your computer.
2. Double-click the installation file to begin the PHDS installation.
3. Open the Pipe Hanger Design Software from the PHDS icon on the desktop. In the main menu of PHDS, make sure that IntelliCAD is selected as shown below. This step is only required if AutoCAD is also present on your system.

Installation from CD

1. Place the CD in the CD-ROM drive. The installation CD menu will appear automatically. If it does not, click Start and then Run, and type D:\PHDS.exe at the command prompt.
2. First click the Install IntelliCAD link in the CD menu. The installation will begin automatically. Once installed, open and close IntelliCAD once before using PHDS for the first time.
3. Next click the Install PHDS link in the CD menu.
4. Open the Pipe Hanger Design Software from the PHDS icon on the desktop. In the main menu of PHDS, make sure that IntelliCAD is selected as shown below. This step is only required if AutoCAD is also present on your system:
