The metallic bellows is by necessity one of the thinnest pressure-carrying components in the piping system. PT&P offers as optional accessories a series of devices designed to protect the bellows element. Each of the S-Flex pages shows the accessories which can be specified as standard additions to each expansion joint. The individual bellows elements in the U-Flex universal expansion joint series can also have these accessories provided. This section describes the accessories and their benefits. The How-to-Order section of each series describes how to specify accessories when ordering a PT&P standard part number.
